Down a Garden Path

I love the late afternoon light on my kitchen herb and flower garden.  There’s something soothing and peaceful, so when I went outside this evening to drink in the peace, I decided to take you all with me. :-) Welcome to my garden.  You never know what you might find here.

Though if you hang around outside for long, you’ll likely be joined by Percy cat…

Little moths…

A silly, endearing mutt dog…

St. Francis…

(okay, so he’s a statue and can’t move…)

A contemplative boxer…

And Queen Adelaide.

Thanks for joining us! Hope you have a lovely rest of your day :-)

Slow Clothes Part 2

So in the interests of being complete I thought I’d post a couple pictures of my first load of clothes up on the clothes line.  These pictures are several weeks old now due to first computer drama and then the flood.  But here she is…

And the clothes make cool shadows as they dry in the sun 😛

In other news, Percy loves to stalk bugs.

Just look at that concentration… I need that sort of concentration, I’m constantly distracted by… *whack* oh look, I got a bug! Now, where was I?

Oh, yes, Percy.  He doesn’t like to be watched in his hunting activities however.

Oh no! not the blink!

I’ve been blinked.  How am I supposed to live with myself now? HOW?

Rumble in the neighborhood

Some days the neighbor’s dog, Bella, comes over to play with our pups. She and Lacey have a favorite game of who can get the stick. It’s very fierce.

Of course, it usually ends withe the stick breaking in half.

But then they go and get another one and start all over…

This stick is stronger, so the rumble gets intense.

Nom nom nom nom.

Lacey’s gotten the upper hand despite her smaller size.  Of course she’s got gravity in her favor, with those stubby legs of hers…

She revels in her victory…

While Adelaide watches from the top step of the porch with typical feline disdain for the general canine rowdiness.
